
How to Use Canon SELPHY 1200 Photo Printer
Canon SELPHY CP1200:
This tutorial will guide you for how to use the Canon Photo Printer SELPHY CP1200 to print a photo directly from your smartphone. Also, this photo printer model is of black color and it has more options than the white model because it is able to act as an access point.
Step 1:
In the labeled picture below, you can see everything you will need to start printing your photos. The SELPHY CP1200 package includes the paper carrier and a power supply. Paper sets and ink sets can be bought alone in one package for the SELPHY printer. And this package will contain 108 paper sets along with 3 ink sets.
Step 2:
Open the photo carrier as shown in the picture below. On the right there is an open button where you open it in order to insert the paper sets.
Step 3:
Open the paper set and insert it to the paper carrier as in the picture below. And in order for SELPHY CP1200 to function well, don’t insert more than 1 set (18 papers).
Step 4:
Now enter the paper carrier into the printer from the same side you inserted the paper set.
Step 5:
Now open the ink slot to the right of SELPHY printer and then insert one ink set.
When ink set inserted, don’t forget to close the slot.
Step 6:
Now connect the charger to both the printer and the wall.
Step 7:
Now long press the ON button to start your printer.
Step 8:
Press the Menu button and go to Wi-Fi Settings. Then press OK.
Step 9:
Now choose Connection Method.
Step 10:
Choose Direct Connection and press OK.
Step 11:
Now wait until the screen shows you the printer’s Wi-Fi name and password:
Step 12:
Turn Wi-Fi on your smartphone and connect to SELPHY printer.
Step 13:
Download Canon SELPHY CP1200 App from the app store. Then open the app.
Step 14:
After you open the app click on Photo print and choose the photo you want to print from your device.
Step 15:
Then press the Print button on your phone and wait until your photo is printed.
Step 16:
And here it comes.
By the way, I used a paper cutter to crop borders of the photo.
